TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SALES

Weld Direct sells to users of safety, welding, and industrial supplies subject to and conforming to current Weld Direct Company Policy. To place an order call our sales office at 1-800-655-9353 (1-800-655-WELD) e-mail us at custsvc@weld-direct.com.

PRICES

Notice of price changes is given in advance whenever possible. However, prices are subject to change without notice and price in effect at time of shipment will apply.

TERMS

	Net 30 days.
	Delinquent invoices are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month.
	Minimum billing is $25.00.

FREIGHT

Weld Direct will ship F.O.B. shipping point and prepay freight, at the lowest published tariff, within the continental limits of the United States, on orders with a net value of $1000 or more and backorders from these orders. Orders with a net value of less than $1000 and backorders from these orders will be shipped prepaid and add.

CLAIMS

Claims for damage must be made to the delivering carrier as we take receipt for all shipments in good order. Report all damages and/or shortages to the motor carrier immediately and advise Weld Direct within ten (10) days of receipt. Claims for damage and/or shortage on UPS shipments should be promptly reported to the Weld Direct sales office.

Weld Direct cannot accept less than full payment of our invoice if carrier is at fault.

RETURNS

Merchandise shipped in error, defective in workmanship, or otherwise unserviceable, may be returned for full credit and will be free of all restocking and/or freight charges. Please initiate return proceedings within thirty days of receipt or failure, requesting a written return authorization. It will be necessary to provide the invoice number, date, and the reason for return.

Other material may, at the seller's option, be returned for credit providing:

Prior authorization for such return is granted in writing.

It is a currently cataloged item, salable as new without a need for repackaging.

A restocking charge of not less than 20% may be assessed. Greater charges may be applicable depending on actual condition of merchandise or packaging.

Obsolete goods, Silver-Bearing alloys, and merchandise shipped as a result of special customer orders cannot be returned for credit under any circumstances.

Goods returned for credit for reasons other than warranty or error, will be accepted on a freight prepaid and allowed basis only, and will be subject to Weld Direct’s recapture of outgoing freight charge allowance.

WARRANTY

Weld Direct guarantees goods sold only to the extent of the warranty as set forth by the manufacturer.

CATALOGS

Weld Direct provides full line buyer catalogs for each customer buying location free of charge. This includes an electronic ALL PRODUCTS catalog and pricing information provided on a CD or a ZIP file.
